![]() ![]() There is only ever 1 large and 1 small planet on-screen at any one time. They have all run perfect until recently. I have some quite large graphic files, 4x HD renders of planets about 200px x 200px some have up to 500 frames of animation running at 60fps. ![]() I have no idea how GMS utilises GFX cards though. I have used windows resource manager and my game when running, consumes about 1 to 1.2GB system RAM max. Performance of the game is fine on other machines I have though, my gaming PC which is a newish machine with an i5 and a 4GB GPU and 8GB RAM, and the game also runs fine on my toshi laptop which is also fairly new (i7, 4GB GPU, 8 GB RAM) Game performance is now terrible on my dev PC, unplayable, which uses an old Q9550 quad core and an old geforce 9800 gtx 512mb and has 4GB of RAM. It has jumped up slowly over the last couple months from a 110mb package to a 250mb package when the project folder is zipped. I've recently expanded my game out from 3 rooms to 12 rooms, added a fair bit more graphics and sound.
